After an endless queue to get entry, last Saturday I could travel the 17 arteBA edition. While the entry process was heavy, within the La Rural were very walkable corridors and galleries of good cheer to report on the works.
Something I noticed for the last time I had gone to this show (long ago, while working for Fairs & Congresses) is that it was a shame to say prices: all the questions I asked were answered in good spirits, saying in the most natural since “five hundred dollars” about “eighteen thousand pesos”.
It's not very nice to talk about art prices and saying if it were a lottery, but I removed the fear seems interesting to ask the head and open to the possibility of investing in acquiring a work. It is true that today is not easy to have a rest of the money for these things, but often spend much money on clothes or electronics (leaves a cell phone today and had pictures thousand dollars for that amount), for example, and perhaps it is interesting to invest in promoting the production atística, especially by local artists.
In this sense, I also left with the impression that even outside Barrio Joven, there are many talented artists starting Argentine and art can be purchased without having to pay millions of dollars. As quoted, there are pictures that can start at five hundred dollars, if it is not an insignificant sum of money is not impossible.
Here I leave a small selection of contemporary artists who saw and I liked. We divided into two parts so that there is no long.
