A trend that I've found very interesting lately is the rescue of the importance of play for adults. It was visible in the Vacavaliente accessories and now it's also present in these lovely items for the home or the office by Playables.
I think the images are pretty self-explanatory, but designers Leandro Laurencena and Maximiliano Cifuni (from the studio Diseñaveral and creators of the line) comment in their site: “Playables conceives any object of daily use as a means to encourage play. In this line, the developed objects are playable within our daily activities, but always fulfilling roles that make them useful”.
With the holidays coming and with them the pressure to buy repeated and often useless things to all family members, these types of objects are interesting to consider as gifts. Added value: they are made of materials such as wood and reconstituted leather. According to the price list provided by the designers, they start at 30 pesos and go up to 68.
