Probably the path indicated by the “death of trends” and the need to differentiate which reigns in these times, in recent seasons but I noticed a shift towards prints and prints. Many of them, combined in ways that some years ago, in the pale late 90s, would have seemed outrageous.
More in the rest of post.
It is not my intention to make a complete analysis of this issue because it would be impossible, but between a few mentions from outside could be identified as characteristic of Matthew Williamson (taken to the massive H&M in the northern summer), those of last season (Resort) by Prada or of Virtue (latter pathway White Lightning).
Although in a more informal, Some brands of Buenos Aires that have been working with patterns caught my eye and made a small collection of favorite winter season with some looks of Pesqueira (obviously queen and mistress of the prints), Posse and Plot (one of the few mass-market brands of which I care about the image that comes to work). The choice is quite arbitrary, I know they are very different brands, the thread is just my personal interest.
Also noteworthy are the patterns of Puppet, but do not repeat this because I already said that collection days ago.
While these are collections this winter, the international level are referred to the summer so surely the subject of prints continue for long.
Below I leave the gallery (click to see larger photos) and finally, links to the brands.
Pesqueira sells at Armenia 1493, Palermo and in several stores in Argentina and the world that are listed on the site under ‘where to buy '; Posse garments are available in their local (Cerviño 3812, Palermo, and Juncal 1309, Recoleta) and its Online Store; Plot and sold in almost all massive shopping malls and shops own.
