A few seasons ago that I called particular attention to Maria Cher, but I found some of the looks attractive proposed for this winter 2009.
The collection is in line with many other, the rockstar look that blends with ‘careful carelessness’ sophisticated garments with other more informal, and embodies like no other Kate Moss (but locally may be a reference for this is AY Not Dead). But Cher line takes some of those elements and mix them with something more everyday, perhaps less ‘Ultra-glamorous’ but real or near.
To give an example: sequined handkerchief would probably be too much for anyone, but in combination with a short, a T-shirt and a jacket fabric is about something that might fit well to a small or middle-aged woman.
In that sense, I think that these looks are interesting ideas to make and assemble packages with whatever is at home (outside who can obviously, could invest in some of these beautiful clothes).
I let down the ones I liked, at the site of the designer there are many more. Maria Cher sold in its flagship store in Palermo (El Salvador 4724) and the Paseo Alcorta shopping, Unicenter, Patio Bulrich and Solar de la Abadia. It also has a sample local and discontinuous in San Isidro (Avenida Diego Carman 417).
