This blog is a personal project by Paula Alvarado (me).
It began as a place to show some design products, emerging artists and miscellaneous places that I was seeing in the city, but as my interests are increasingly turning to everything related to sustainable living, BA Inspiration is changing and incorporating other subjects with me.
At this point the themes that catch my attention are, in no particular order, the ideas of dematerialization, demonetization and desapropiation, the collaborative consumption (though I do not like using the word consumption), people who talk about shamans, everything related to urban activism, the cult of bicycles and urban farms, among others.
Naturally, I am still interested in good local design, no frills art that makes one think and charming corners of Buenos Aires, especially if they are in semi demolition and are self-managed by neighbors. I'm not sure where the content of this site is turning to, but I will find out on the road.
